Today I changed my banner in my website so that it is legal. I added in a pic of Joel and I. I have a video of nitro racing I uploaded to add in once approved at teacher tube. I'm trying to link to a surfer safety video as an example ... It was fun learning about the art pad to Obama ize my picture.
I was really excited to find teachers who also were also intrigued by the Story Matters Here for the class theme. Their site in word press is quite sophisticated. I will use them as a model. I am jealous of their partnership ansd in awe of the links to links to links existing out there.
Staying focused is important but hard when there are so many new avenues introduced everyday. Trying to think about how to have productive worksessions in school continues to mean goals, incremental steps, check ins and deadlines for sharing.

Don't be jealous...find a partner. You could go to delicious and look for people who tagged sites related to the Story Matters Here theme and then contact them.
ReplyDeleteI too am stuck with fuzzy focus. We've got a smattering of what's out there and now need to force ourselves to try one or two new tools a day. Just think, once your website has a decent structure (which it does), editing will be a snap. If you get stuck, just e-mail one of us and we'd help you out.
I'll be interested if those partners will end up being YOUR collaborators too? And as Mary said, yes, find a partner for you, nothing like it to get support when you're doing good work like this. Feel free to continue to use me as a reference. I'm happy to be your sounding board both here and virtually :-)
